A New Perspective

Well I must say that it is very humbling to go from over 1,000 Facebook likes- to 14 today.... So strange to have like 8 followers on Twitter- rather than 2,300. My sales figures are quite low, as I only opened the new shop on the 24th of July.
It has put so much into perspective.

I opened my shop four years ago this August. For the past 10 years I have been selling my products at Craft Fairs and some of my fellow craft friends told me about Etsy. I had never sold my items on-line and it was a big step for me.

Over the past four years I have been so lucky to have been guided by so many wonderful shop owners as to the ins and outs of on-line shops. I am thrilled to say that I sell World Wide.

Etsy Craft Party 2012- Are You Going???

I am so excited about the upcoming Etsy Craft Party... It is a worldwide event, happening on August 24, 2012, beginning at 7pm EST (Etsy time, Eastern Standard). Currently, there are 11,613 Etsians participating in 1,183 cities across the globe! I'm one of them, yay!

They have a theme, it is "Wish You Were Here".  We are supposed to work together on a project that reflects our locale...

If your location has 25+ participants going- Michaels (tm) is donating a free box of craft supplies, the more participants- the bigger the box of supplies!

Are you an Etsian? Are you planning on participating? Where are you located?
I intend to participate in the Ann Arbor, MI location!
